Program Information

At Camp Heiwa, participants will receive intensive Japanese language lessons through a variety of camp activities with instructors and tutors, that will help them develop speaking, reading, and writing skills. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to explore Nagasaki's famous landmarks, such as the Nagasaki Peace Park, Atomic Bomb Museum, and Mount Inasa, and enjoy a number of cultural activities such as relaxing at an onsen, shrine and temple excursions, and singing at a local karaoke bar!

Our staff members at Camp Heiwa are dedicated to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment that caters to the language level of each participant. By the end of the program, participants will have gained a deeper understanding and appreciation for the Japanese language and culture, as well as developed lifelong friendships with fellow participants.
